Congrats Pie! We're glad to be your ladder to success.

I've ridden a segway. I have a picture, but it's not the most flattering.

They take a little getting used to (ladies, don't use them with heels), but are quite fun. The guy's I rode lived and worked in an urban area where he was too far away to walk but didn't want to take the time or effort to drive or bus there. Segways are a great idea, I think, but don't have much practical use in our commuter society. Or, they would if we actually had cities and people who were geared to alternate forms of personal transit. Of course, he also owned it for the 'gee whiz' factor.

they are expensive and annoying as heck to drive just get a bike and an electric motor for it (yes they sell them and they are cheeper)

You aren't doing anything wrong technically, but there have been some problems in the past with people posting and replying to every thread only to increase their postcount. The mods generally look down on too many posts (spamming) unless you have something to add to the conversation. The off-topic thread can be an exception to that though, just as long as you don't double post.

I'm cold and tired.. I had to wear jeans today, and I hate wearing jeans.. they are the work of the devil. It's POURING rain outside, ontop of it being in the low 40s, so it doesn't make for a pleasant day. Other than that, I'm happy
